This is a hybrid role combining time at the office and time working from home, based in Guadalajara, Mexico.Position SummaryThis position is an integral part of the Worldwide Sales Compensation team supporting all segments of the worldwide Sales organization.  This position will collaborate with the Worldwide Sales Compensation team and other Worldwide Sales Operations teams as well as teammates in Finance, HR & Legal.  The candidate will make sure all sales employees at all levels are paid accurately and timely, will help and support with all their potential issues and concerns, will be involved in the administration of the sales compensation and territory management tools, and policy and procedure development and implementation. The work will support F5’s overall vision, mission, and strategic roadmap through the successful performance of data-entry and analytical functions to ensure quality, consistency, accuracy and efficiency in sales compensation set-up, payments, reconciliations, and reporting. Attention to detail paired with mindfulness of the big picture is essential for success in this role.What will you do? Make sure all commissioned sales employees are paid timely and accurately.Interact with all sales employees to respond to their questions regarding their compensation, resolve case by case situations and provide follow-up until case resolutions.Implement manual changes each month to make sure all transactions are crediting correctly, and all payments are properly reflected in systems.Make sure all roles and sales organizations are properly setup in systems.Manage SPIFFs and other bonuses programs, to make sure accurate and timely payment is met.Manage the sales compensation plans at all levels WW, frontline to executive, meeting Worldwide company strategic initiatives.Plan, execute and deliver the end-to-end annual Sales Compensation Fiscal Year setup in the sales compensation system.Design, develop, implement, and manage F5 sales compensation models and incentive plans at all levels (front-line to Executive level) to meet strategic objectives of Senior Sales LeadersDevelop policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance with legal requirements around sales compensation and other sales operations related areas.Develop solutions to complex crediting situations and present recommendations supported by data and facts.In partnership with multiple Sales Operations teams and sales leaders, support the annual quota setting process.Analyze key performance metrics to provide insight into sales compensation trends.Liaise with Finance, HR and Sales Operations on budget planning, sales compensation accruals, compliance, and escalations.Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.Performs other related duties as assigned.Bring these skills with you: Experience working on Sales Compensation, Sales Operations or Finance/Accounting/Payroll is a must.Intermediate-to-advanced experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, v-lookups, graphing, and charting functionality is a must.Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems a must.Experience with Sales Compensation software like Xactly, SAP Commissions, Anaplan, Oracle, Varicent, Callidus, others is a plus.Tableau or Microsoft Power Bi is a plus.Superior sense of responsibility, strong work ethics, very organized and detail orientedYou bring a passion for data, analytics and problem solving.You have endless curiosity, feel comfortable asking multiple questions, proactivity and you are self-driven and independent.Excellent written and verbal communication in EnglishYou thrive in customer support and collaborate effectively with all levels and functions, including executives.You thrive in a dynamic environment and work with a high degree of freedom and proactiveness.Capable of working under time constraints and running multiple projectsAbility to adapt to change, remain flexible and shift priorities in a fast-paced globally complex, customer focused environment.What's required of me? You have a BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or related field (required).You bring a minimum of 5 years relevant experience within sales operations or comparative field, and/or financial analysis experience supporting a sales organization.Experience working in the Technology industry.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentDuties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (early mornings, evenings and/or weekends)Job may be performed in an office environment sitting at a desk or computer table. Quarter end flexibility required to allow for occasional extra hours.Duties may require the ability to travel occasionally via automobile or airplane.The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
