The goal of an Aircraft Technician at Wisk is to ensure that our aircraft are held to the highest standard for the team to flight test. You will be part of the Flight Test and Operations team that works towards the future of Aviation, providing Wisk with the best possible test environment for their aircraft. In this role, the candidate must be willing to work well with others, learn from people, and help bring in another new mind to help solve the issues we will run into. Taking what was taught in school and applying their knowledge of Aviation will help continue the growth of the Wisk Operations Support Team. What you will do: As part of the Flight Test and Operations organization, and deployed in Operations Support, you will act as an Aircraft Technician for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market You will take part in process development, maintenance, build-up, testing, flight line work, and flight test You will support many functions within Wisk as we are at the end of the line where all teams come together on the aircraft! Our role is to be able to test a fully functional aircraft in support of the company. You will help support problem-solving activities regularly. Throughout the test program, troubleshooting is a regular day-to-day function of our team to ensure the downtime of the aircraft will be minimal. You will help coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting efforts, and other tasks in and around the flight facility. You will take part in maintenance activities, process improvement, and flight testing. As an Aircraft Technician, you will help define how the future of Aviation operates an all-electric, vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. What you have done: We are looking for a new grad with 0-2 years of experience with a valid A&P license. You have worked on aircraft in a school setting or from field experience, such as a military background You have hands-on experience as a mechanic Who you are: You are a highly motivated, self-starting individual with a broad set of skills and never afraid of facing complex technical challenges You are a solution-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communications to suit the audience You can adapt quickly or propose changes needed to achieve early results in a timely fashion You embrace challenges and take commitments and deliver results within reasonable expectations You are a positive team player $29 - $34 an hour Compensation and Benefits: In addition to offering a great work environment and the opportunity to be part of the team making electric autonomous flight a reality, at Wisk, we offer excellent total rewards which include a competitive base salary, annual bonus, long term incentive, 401K, health benefits and much more.
