Plus is looking to hire a Resident Test Engineer based in Stockholm, Sweden. This person will be responsible to create and execute vehicle tests including testing plans etc., This role needs the person to visit and work at our partners location on a daily basis. Responsibilities: Creation and execution of vehicle tests and testing plans/campaigns according to internal and customer requirements Execution of development tests in coordination with test management and developers Monitor AD system in vehicle and support the safety driver in executing the driving task Assist with troubleshooting and development of in-vehicle test environments Analyze, document, report and track issues Flash and parameterize sensors and troubleshoot vehicle integration issues Work with partner validation teams to ensure they understand the testing plans and have the necessary assets to conduct the tests Integrate with customer development teams and help to manage day-to-day work at customer site Be the first point of contact for engineering related issues from Plus on-site at the customer Required skills: Proficient in Linux (High) willingness to travel and work in different environments Understanding of the main components of autonomous driving software stack Basic understanding of different sensor concepts (camera/lidar/radar/gps/imu) Basic understanding of hardware / electronics Perform and analyze test cases on public road and test tracks Experience in dealing with customers and representing the company on-site as a first point of contact Fluent in English Experience with ticketing systems and collaborative documentation systems such as Jira and Confluence Experience with test management systems (e.g. Jama) Driver’s license Preferred skills: CE driver’s license Swedish language skills are a plus Ability to debug and fix software in an AV stack Project management experience desired Our compensations (cash and equity) are determined based on the position, your location, qualifications, and experience.
