Financial Analyst IIDescription -Description -The CASR COE is responsible for leading and delivering the close activities and audits for 90 entities around the world . The team is responsible to lead USGAAP Close, Local Close and statutory audit closures with the external audit partners . The role  contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas for long term roadmap of the COEThe opportunity:Applies developed subject matter knowledge to drive Statutory audits & Close activities of different legal entities in compliance with local regulatory requirements. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations.Responsibilities:End-to-end ownership of close activities & statutory audits for all the legal entities assigned with diverse nature by working closely with external auditors.Preparation of Financial Statements as per accounting standardsCollaboration with Controllers and other stakeholders to ensure complete analysis of the Financial statements.Standardization and automation of close processes and all the audit schedules and audit processes for the scope of entitiesEnd-to-end knowledge of accounting processes, and accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP, and other accounting frameworks)Proficient in understanding of Statutory Reporting process, GAAP Bridging & Financial statement preparation.Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.Identifies issues and proposes solutions.Trial Balance analysis & support Close activities during month end, quarter end and year end close of USGAAP & Local GAAP books.Education and Experience Required:First-level university degree focused on business or economics;Professional qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India preferred.Typically, 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst, or controller or reputed audit firm.Knowledge and Skills:Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.Strong technical aptitude relating to accounting systems; (SAP S/4HANA) preferred.Strong analytical skills.Strong business application skills (e.g., S4, Microsoft Excel).Strong communication and influencing skills.Excellent teamwork skillsGood business acumenKnowledge of US GAAP & IFRSAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.Job -FinanceSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (India)Travel -Relocation -Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) - HP, Inc. provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and prospective employees, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, age, disability, or status as a protected veteran, marital status, familial status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic predisposition or carrier status, uniformed service status, political affiliation or any other characteristic protected by applicable national, federal, state, and local law(s).Please be assured that you will not be subject to any adverse treatment if you choose to disclose the information requested.
