We are in search of a Solution Advisor to bolster our Sales team within Blue Yonder Returns Management, bringing with them a robust background in functional pre-sales and extensive expertise in Retail, Logistics, and/or Manufacturing industries. This role owns the positioning and demonstration of all new software and services solutions into a customer environment. Capable of representing the entire portfolio of JDA products and services at a strategic level and describing JDA vision and direction. End-to-end positioning capabilities across the entire portfolio. Ability to build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation and provide proof of concept. Maintain extensive knowledge of complex aspects of products and systems. Answer client questions on product function and usage and solve sales support problems.​ScopePossess knowledge in SaaS, specifically supply chain software solutions preferred, to facilitate the seamless integration of solutions into customer business processes.Primary responsibilities include:Comprehending customers’ needsMaintaining a thorough and current understanding of products and industry trendsDeveloping customized customer solutionsOffering technical guidance both internally and externallyAssisting in the creation of solution proposalsEngaging customersProviding sales supportFacilitating the feedback loop from sales opportunities to internal teamsThis role is an integral part of the end-to-end sales/solution engineering team within the Sales organization. The team comprises global associates across NA, India (COE), and EMEA and is poised for rapid expansion.What you’ll doCollaborate closely with the sales team to grasp requirements, challenges, and objectives of potential customers. Gather detailed insights into customer needs and pain points to tailor solutions effectively.Provide technical expertise and assistance throughout the sales process, including addressing technical queries, conducting product demonstrations, and explaining product integration with existing systems.Build relationships with customers to foster trust. This involves conducting meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to educate customers about our products and services and address any concerns or objections.Partner with customers to design solutions tailored to their specific requirements, potentially creating customized demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to demonstrate how our offerings meet their needs.Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned from client engagements within the organization. Participation in industry events, conferences, and forums to establish thought leadership and promote our expertise may also be required.Work closely with the sales team to ensure proposals align with customer needs and effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings.Stay abreast of industry trends and analyze how they can be applied to our solution offerings.What we are looking forBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience in solution engineering, technology consultancy, or pre-sales roles.Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners, fostering collaboration and driving consensus.Demonstrated proficiency in understanding complex technical solutions and translating technical concepts into clear, concise language for diverse audiences.Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess client needs, identify pain points, and propose effective solutions aligned with business objectives.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proactive problem-solving skills with a creative mindset to develop innovative solutions to challenges encountered during client engagements.A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support to clients throughout the engagement lifecycle.Collaborative team player with a willingness to share knowledge, contribute to team goals, and support colleagues in achieving collective objectives.Is a thought leader in their Product Solution area of focus and is able to apply that knowledge to customer situations.Ready to travel to customer sites based on business needs, and flexible to work with overlapping time zones. #LI-Remote*LI-MH1-------------------------------------------The salary range for this role is $105,000.00 to $125,000.00 plus a variable component.The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
