About The Team The Accounting team is results oriented and works cross-functionally to assist in driving the company forward by delivering both internal and external financial reporting. The Role Outreach is seeking an experienced, self starting Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role has a unique mix of operational and technical accounting, financial reporting, and ad hoc projects as an individual contributor. You will play a critical role in general accounting matters, identifying areas for automation, designing, and operating internal controls. Additionally, you will serve as a resource for managing team-wide initiatives, process improvements, and various accounting projects. Due to the fast-paced and high growth nature of the Company, the candidate must be detail oriented, have the ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic environment to help drive the Company’s continued growth, and possess a willingness to roll-up their sleeves when needed. Location: We're open to remote within the US. Your Daily Adventures Will Include Oversee the monthly accounting close, driving close to timely completion and ensuring completeness and accuracy Lead day to day accounting activities including preparation and review of journal entries, and account reconciliations Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis to ensure financial statement results accurately reflect business activity and are in accordance with US GAAP Assist in preparation and review of reporting packages for the Controller and CFO Lead in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Company's system of internal controls Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies, thresholds, and procedures Partner cross functionally to analyze accounting impacts of anticipated business transactions Partner with product, engineering, and other Finance teams to understand development activity of the integrated sales execution platform and ensure accuracy of accounting under ASC 350-40 Responsible for stock-based compensation accounting matters including employee and non-employee equity under ASC 718 Assist in preparation and review of financial statements, specifically statement of cash flows and various disclosures including share-based compensation, investments, leases, fixed assets, commitments and contingencies, and intangibles Act as the day-today lead point of contact for our external auditors; coordinate and assist in driving the execution of year end audit procedures, quarterly reviews, and requests throughout the year Perform special, ad-hoc projects in Accounting as required Our Vision Of You 4-6+ years of combined public and private accounting, CPA preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting required SAAS Industry or similar sized Company experience preferred Attention to detail with the ability to analyze underlying data to address unforeseen occurrences and create tactical plans for the team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adhere to tight deadlines Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Internal Control requirements Excellent written and oral communication skills, active listener, tailor’s communication to the audience Knowledge of NetSuite and FloQast, or other ERP and workflow management systems Knowledge of Carta, Coupa, and or Concur is a plus Project management and systems implementation experience Successful in building cross-departmental relationships The base salary range for this role is $95,000-$150,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
