Import and Export Operations AnalystDescription -As a Import and Export Operation Analyst I you will applies basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.Must apply prior knowledge of trade operations to specific import and export operations.Apply basic knowledge of the processes involved in preparing customs and commercial invoices in accordance with Customs legislation.Apply general foreign trade requirements and rules.through professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through academic training and previous experience in real operations in other companies.}Work as part of a team, providing information, analysis, and recommendations to support the team's work.Responsibilities: Responsible for Import-Export processes in the supply chain, such as billing in the Annex 24 Customs system, order fulfillment, import/export and shipping operations, for international business unit with minimal supervision applying discretion and judgment.Contact with Mexican customs brokers and American brokers.Knowledge to make import-export legal documents, invoices, packing list, Certificates of Origin, Waybills, BOL, T&E, I/T.Apply knowledge of Mexican and American Customs Law.Responsible to process export shipments, traffic, and logistics.Compiles key metrics, produces reports, and analyzes data using IT systems for supply and demand matching activities.Review performance metrics regularly, identifying opportunities for improvement.Education and Experience Required: University degree in International Trade, Import-Export, Customs, or equivalent degree experience.Typically, 0-2 years of experience in Import-Export procedures.Knowledge and Skills: Good understanding of import-export through supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).Demonstrated analytical skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills; medium English level and Spanish local language.Good interpersonal skills.Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Introduction to HP's overall supply chain strategy.Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ATP.Basic understanding of import/export regulatory requirements and compliance.Basic knowledge of inventory analysis.Job -Supply Chain & OperationsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Mexico)Travel -Relocation -Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) - HP, Inc. provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and prospective employees, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, age, disability, or status as a protected veteran, marital status, familial status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic predisposition or carrier status, uniformed service status, political affiliation or any other characteristic protected by applicable national, federal, state, and local law(s).Please be assured that you will not be subject to any adverse treatment if you choose to disclose the information requested.
