The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.THE ROLEInsomniac Events is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Legal Coordinator to support the legal division. This role reports to the VP, Business & Legal Affairs. This is not a remote position and is full time in office.                 RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate and update lists of vendors across all festivals and concerts and provide the legal department with continuing lists of vendor contracts to draftGather and update lists of performing artists across all festivals, concerts, and clubsTrack vendor agreement statuses and follow up with vendors for (i) signed agreements, and (ii) certificates of insuranceReview vendor certificates of insurance to ensure that they (i) comply with legal department/agreement requirements, and (ii) that the coverage dates are current for the respective show being contractedTrack artist agreement statuses and follow up with agency teams for signed agreements and certificates of insurance that are current for the respective show being contracted.Send out TULIP applications for artists without current coverage and ensure that they apply and pay for coverage before showsReview returned signed agreements and note to the legal department any changes between it and the original agreement sent overTrack, review and approve certificates of insurance for talent media teamsTrack all other relevant agreements, including without limitation co-promotion agreements, sponsorship agreements, non-disclosure agreements and venue agreements, and follow up for and ensure agreement compliance with their corresponding third-party certificates of insuranceOrganize all returned agreements (including artist performance agreements and their corresponding tax documents) into the legal department's contract storage systemSubmit completed artist performance agreements and tax documents to club’s accountant for timely payment, as well as submitting late-returned festival and concert artist performance agreements and tax documents to Insomniac accounting for paymentManage the legal department's contract storage systemHelp train and onboarding various team members when neededOther special projects and tasks as assigned as neededSome travel may be required (economy)QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in a related field 3+ years of experience, preferably in administrative rolesProven ability to work independently while effectively supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical skills and a solutions-oriented approach to addressing challengesStrong organizational and administrative skillsPractical and sound judgment even in ambiguous situationsProficient user of Microsoft suiteMust have clean criminal and driving record, valid driver’s license, passport, and car insuranceTeam player, problem solver, adapterProficient user in Microsoft Office productsExperience with contract management software, such as Ironclad, preferred but not requiredWORK ENVIRONMENTMust be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMust be willing to work in drastic temperature climates when onsite at our eventsMust be willing to travel to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlinesApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.PAY RATE HOURLY RANGE: $25.00 - $31.00 USDEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYInsomniac strongly supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, marital status, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by state or federal law.HIRING PRACTICESThe preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
