We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, proactive Program Manager to join Reddit’s Trust & Safety Policy (TSP) team. TSP protects the expression rights, safety, and private information of communities across Reddit through strategic policies and solutions that manage defensible risk and promote responsible business practices. The team is comprised of five policy pillars – ads policy, intellectual property policy, legal removals policy, platform safety policy, and user data policy – and is responsible for a wide variety of issues including handling global legal requests for user account information and content removal, intellectual property issues, data protection requests, child safety initiatives, advertising, content, and product policy development, regulatory readiness, and transparency reporting.
This critical role will report to the head of our TSP Program Management function and be focused on increasing team effectiveness through key initiatives including facilitation of our quarterly OKR process, streamlining and consolidating tooling requirements, partnering with data scientists on improved analytics and metrics dashboards, enhancing our growing transparency reporting program, and other areas that will help set the team and other partner orgs up for sustained success in support of Reddit’s continued international growth.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with internal stakeholders on improved metrics and analytics dashboards supporting international scaling & efficiency efforts
Help oversee team tooling initiatives, including gathering requirements, strategizing on solutions, and interfacing with product managers and engineers to strategically influence prioritization of critical tooling development
Enhance Reddit’s transparency reporting program through strategic improvements
Help with regulatory preparedness and responsiveness for product, tooling, and reporting impacts
Orchestrate team feedback on new products, features, and regulations
Partner with TSP leadership on strategic international growth planning and projects
Support team objective and key results process to capture and track team priorities
Implement a scalable program to organize policy and workflow documentation
Advise on process and operational improvements through creative solutions
Streamline team localization processes and related projects
Identify and proactively communicate trends to inform strategies on policy and workflow development
Develop trusted relationships with cross-functional partners to increase collaboration and effectiveness
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of relevant program management in a technology company or in a legal organization
BA/BS or equivalent education/experience (e.g., project management certifications)
Experience facilitating regulatory readiness, transparency reporting, OKRs, supporting fast-paced operations, and/or internal tooling development
Comfort with analyzing and organizing data, creating dashboards, and dealing with technical requirements
Strong analytical skills to assess the root cause of the problem and drive towards an appropriate solution
Effective collaborator with peers and cross-functional stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives
Ability to excel and drive change in a dynamic, fast-paced distributed environment
Familiarity with JIRA, Zendesk, Confluence and other team effectiveness platforms
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The base pay range for this position is: $151,700 — $212,400 USD
