Job Requisition ID #24WD79107Position OverviewReporting to the Director of Vendor Management, The ESE Vendor Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with strategic, new and renewing technology suppliers ensuring first and foremost that Autodesk is receiving the best value from suppliers and that suppliers are meeting or exceeding expectations on all contractual obligations.The Vendor Manager will work closely with different levels of stakeholders and leaders within ESE. This requires a passion for customer service and the ability to skillfully manage the supplier lifecycle and related request from beginning to end. Additionally, the Vendor Manager will be required to proactively seek out opportunities to deliver cost savings via a close collaborative partnership with the Autodesk Sourcing team.ResponsibilitiesKey stakeholder in the vendor management lifecycle include CIO staff, the ESE domain business owners, Finance, Sourcing, Procurement and LegalWork with Business Owners, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Privacy and Security teams on RF(x) processes, technical supplier evaluations, security assessments, and other projects as neededMonitor supplier performance, financial status, SLA/KPI monitoringSupport and facilitate any disputes between business and supplier to resolutionSet up regular check-ins with supplier account managers, facilitate regular conversations between the business unit/stakeholder(s) and supplier operations teamsMonitor and ensure contract renewals are planned and executed well in advance of the expirationSupport the business in demand planning and monitor against the planFlag overages and additional budget asks well in advanceWork with Business, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure contracts have appropriate terms and conditions, service level agreements, key performance indicators, and escalation processesOwn the procure to pay process for strategic suppliers. This may include the issuance of Pos and the resolution of invoicesMinimum QualificationsBA/BS in Purchasing or other Operations related field8+ years of progressive experience in management of technology vendor relationships which include but are not exclusive to Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, Software, Hardware, and or Telecom Excellent analytical, organizational, tactical and strategic planning, presentation (verbal, and written) communication skillsAbility to read and interpret legal documents such as contracts, terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreementsAbility to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of the teamAbility to establish workflows, manage multiple projects, and meet necessary deadlinesIntermediate proficiency with MS Office (Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint) and purchasing systems such as Ariba, SAPAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $94,400 and $162,800. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
