Position SummaryDigital Video and Audio (DVA) group portfolio consists of world-class products/services across desktop(Windows/Mac), web, cloud, and mobile catering to professional customers. Some of the products and technologies that the team develops includes Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.As part of the team incumbent will be responsible for one or more of the following:Build robust cross-platform modules to support sequence workflows across DVA products/servicesDevelop features in core components that help make apps more reliable and scalableImplement unit tests and simulate end to end use cases to evaluate performance and stabilityDevelop back-end infrastructure and automation to help detect performance degradation during continuous integrationParticipate in design and architecture of overall product and lead the same for your feature setDevelop imaging or video processing algorithms that can solve some of the hard problems faced by our customersThe key responsibilities includes:Work collaboratively with a distributed team of engineers, product management and designers to build GenAI services/API to enable the next generation of video and audio workflows in the web, desktop, and mobile apps.Partner with internal client teams and enterprise customers to integrate these services/APIs into their product, to ensure that product features utilize these services/APIs accurately and completely, and to optimize the end-to-end workflow to delight the customerAs an Individual contributor, develop new framework/features, improve performance and stability for the full product development cycle from early specs, prototypes to implementation to release and maintenanceStrengthen space-time performance optimizations, usability and stability of productsUnderstand the resource constraints of devices and implements robust and efficient solutions with respect to GPU/CPU processing and memory utilization across platformsRequirements:Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer ScienceMinimum 8 years of proven experienceProficient in Python and object-oriented programmingDeep knowledge of server-side technologies and familiarity with frameworks (REST, DB, AWS, Azure, Docker, CI/CD, etc.)Familiarity with unit/load testing and mocking frameworks will be a huge plusProficient in debugging and profiling multi-threaded applicationsExceptional problem-solving skills, with experience in defining and understanding complex system architectures and design patternsAble to maintain exceptional development standards, especially related to performance, robustness, and scalabilityPossess excellent communication skills to be able to articulate deep technical decisionsAbility to work proactively and independently with minimal directionExperience working in an Agile environmentAble to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesAt Adobe, you will be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized around the world.
