Business Financial AnalystDescription -Job Summary• This role is responsible for leading and providing expertise to project teams, participating in cross-functional initiatives, and guiding process improvements and policy establishment. The role collaborates with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and conducts complex financial analysis to achieve objectives effectively. The role also represents the business unit and the organization as needed, builds productive relationships, and mentors lower-level employees.This role is responsible for driving Business Financial analysis, reporting and consolidation and Financial Planning and Analysis.ResponsibilitiesProvides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.Forecasts financial results within a broad scope.Leads business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance.Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.Drive Financial Planning Analysis, consolidation and reporting KPI and financial performance with variance summary to stakeholdersEducation & Experience RecommendedFirst level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CA) preferred.Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.Typically experienced in more than one finance function.Preferred Certifications• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
