ScopeActs as a subject matter expert in BY demand planning solutions with the Senior product manager. Strategically drives the development, market launches, and continual support and improvement of BY solution.Involved in supporting product development, product sales/pre-sales, customer care, and is the expert on the product and customers.Focuses on long- and medium-term strategy, product vision, observing market usage of product, and supporting the sales/adoption of the product with the Senior product manager.Communicate/clarifies functional design to Product Development.What you’ll do under the guidance of Senior Product ManagerActs as PMG Representative to key customers by providing thought leadership on solutions to business problems. Back-fills for the Product Manager and Sr Product Manager of Product Management role, as required. Cares for and develops key customer and industry relationships by conducting customer and prospect needs research and maintaining key industry contacts. Collaborates with product teams to translate strategic direction into clear product objectives and roadmaps. Communicates product strategies and direction in a compelling manner. Manages and improves key customer and industry interaction. Manages and improves PMG processes by championing process improvement initiatives within or across applicable business units and within Product Management. Projects travel and training expenses. Provides a clear vision and compelling leadership to all product stakeholders on product strategies and solutions to business problems. Provides strategic product/solution leadership by collaborating with Industry team to set product strategic direction and communicating this direction to all stakeholders. Records billable time to customer as appropriate. Researches, evaluates, and recommends product packaging/bundling/pricing alternatives and third-party partnerships to Executive team. Seeks and follows through on opportunities to improve inter-team relationships and understanding.
