Job Overview: As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you play a critical role in partnering across assigned business units to define our hiring needs and build innovative recruiting strategies to effectively attract and hire top talent.  In this role you will source, attract and build relationships with individuals that reflect our global community of diverse learners.  To be successful, you should be proactive and self-motivated, have a track record of juggling multiple reqs with a high volume of candidates, have an understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity, be comfortable closing talent and influencing leaders at any level, have a strong sense of urgency, and a passion for bringing education to the world! Responsibilities: Effectively partner with your hiring managers & leadership team to understand their talent needs and build hiring strategies Build phenomenal pipelines of diverse talent with an emphasis on creating extraordinary candidate experience Manage high volume searches simultaneously with attention to meeting customer deadlines Facilitate interview process, hiring decisions and offer negotiations Help ensure recruiting data integrity by utilizing our ATS (Greenhouse) in an optimal way Track and analyze metrics and reports on hiring progress to leadership on a regular cadence Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of full life-cycle technical recruiting experience (sourcing through to offer negotiations and closing), all while providing exceptional candidate experience Experienced with Applicant Tracking Systems, recruiting and sourcing tools, and creative sourcing strategies Demonstrated capabilities communicating (written and verbal) clearly and concisely and influencing internal and external stakeholders  Experienced analyzing data, understanding trends, developing and articulating recommendations for actions based on the data analysis Problem solving skills: proven capabilities identifying opportunities for improvements paired with the ability to recommend and build effective solutions Preferred Qualifications: Familiar recruiting Software Engineers, Product Designers & Researchers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Data Engineers Background using innovative research and sourcing methods to build niche and well-represented pipelines of skill sets Intermediate knowledge of Google Sheets (vlookup, pivot tables, functions), in addition to the rest of GDrive Previous project management experience Experience with Greenhouse If this opportunity interests you, you might like these courses on Coursera: Attracting and Sourcing Diverse Candidates Influencing People Data – What It Is, What We Can Do With It Coursera is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected class.   If you are an individual with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, please contact us at accommodations@coursera.org.   For California Candidates, please review our CCPA Applicant Notice here.
