The Triage Engineering team is looking for an enthusiastic, and meticulous engineer to help deliver the next quality release of these products on Apple’s platforms. Description Description The Communication Applications team is seeking a software engineer with a strong technical and triaging background to help screen and debug incoming issues. By understanding the reports coming in and escalating them appropriately, you will play a key part in making future releases of FaceTime, SharePlay, Messages and Mail even better. Excellent communication skills are a must because of the close interaction with engineering teams throughout Apple for this role. Responsibilities - You will triage incoming bugs, analyze logs, reproduce issues and help determine the correct resolvers, the priority of problems, while identifying emerging trends across the reported issues - You will design, develop and automate triaging of incoming bugs - You will drive quality and champion bug fixes by working closely with the development team and participating in root cause analysis. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $114,400 and $199,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
