Some details about what you’ll do:Directly represent and project manage the most complicated WEM effort underway at any one time, whether a large project or program of projects.Collaborate with a project community of stakeholders including product owners, technical team leaders, and subject matter experts to plan and execute a predictable path for this WEM effort.Serve as a single source of truth and maintain a sense of control for this WEM effort by ensuring alignment, accountability, and visibility across the project community and senior leadership.Escalate risks, impediments, constraints, and dependencies outside the control of the project community to senior leadership for awareness and resolution.Be a subject matter expert in how to organize projects – planning approaches, schedule estimates, resourcing, contingency, risk mitigation, task tracking, etc. You will collaborate to define a set of project management tools and approaches, then mentor others on how to best apply this set in context.Use Atlassian Jira for project tracking and Confluence for knowledge management.Minimum requirements:A STEM related degree or a demonstration of equivalent professional experience. A degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or similar is preferred.A history of successful project delivery, available for example as a presentation, portfolio, or curriculum vitae.Deep working knowledge of the full software development lifecycle. Experience with commercial SDLC tools preferred.Working knowledge of agile product delivery at scale. Advanced credentials consistent with the domain, such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) preferred.Demonstrated exposure to advanced product delivery topics such as Theory of Constraints, Principles of Product Development Flow, and Lean Startup.Proficiency with programming fundamentals like scripting or automation is an asset, though comprehensive software development experience is not required.Excellent critical thinking and reasoning, with a growth mindset.Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including direct collaboration with peers across development groups and business units. Exposure to advanced topics such as personality styles, emotional intelligence, Crucial Conversations, Situational Leadership preferred.Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
