Retail Customer Care (RCC) focuses on providing an industry-leading, extraordinary experience to every interaction it engages in! The RCC Retail Data Governance Admin role supports Retail Business in Core Data initiatives. Description Description The primary goal is to ensure the business customer data is created with accuracy, validity and aligns to centrally managed records that are used by several downstream Apple business applications. You will be responsible for detecting and resolving data issues (near real time) as they occur, that could have a negative impact on the business teams ability to effectively identify and support Apple’s customers. In order to be effective in this role, you will need to utilize Excel, and Tableau to analyze large volumes of data from source systems. You will also need to successfully partner with Apple’s Business teams, Channel partners and IS&T to resolve common data issues. In addition, you would perform at a fast pace and constantly evolving environment while providing analysis on non-compliant data and effective resolution in related issues. Responsibilities include: - Support, enhance, and develop Apple Retail Business Operational processes and procedures for Retail Data Governance. - Administer data quality audits to measure compliance, solve for and/or prevent on-boarding non-compliant data into the Core Data Management (CDM) system. - Define data quality rules per business requirements and industry standards. Evaluate for automation vs manual review. - Utilize a core data management solution and Apple’s CRM to resolve data quality problems. This includes but is not limited to editing, merging and un-merging records. - Collaborate with BPR and IS&T to implement/improve upon quality controls. - Drive visibility of CRM sales accounts through account team assignments in Apple’s territory management solution. - Evaluate existing CRM and CDM data elements and policies for capital projects, process changes, reporting requirements. - Participate in data testing and validation. - Drive data management awareness across organization. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Demonstrated business analysis skills, including documenting data requirements, understanding system/user workflows, and proposing solutions Familiarity with core data management (CDM) solutions and the application of quality control procedures and corrective measures Define the characteristics of Core Data and understand approaches, difficulties, risk analysis, and mitigation for data mapping Recognize the purpose of data governance by correlating business use cases and benefits Strong data analysis skills along with experience in detailed analysis of source systems, data profiling, and measures Ability to use online resources (i.e. D&B Hoovers) to validate business customer information Experience using various customer relationship management (CRM) solutions Strong conceptualizing, communication and influencing skills Makes space to listen, learn, and amplify diverse perspectives and experiences Actively seeks out opportunities to champion and celebrate inclusion and diversity Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Education & Experience Education & Experience Minimum 3-5 years experience and college degree preferred.
