Summary Posted: Jun 3, 2024 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200553195 As part of the Clinical Team, Apple Health is looking for an individual who will partner with team members across the company to develop wellbeing products, experiences and assessments. Candidates must possess deep subject matter expertise in the wellbeing sciences including mindfulness and compassion-based interventions, meditation practice, subjective wellbeing, and emotion regulation. The ideal candidate will have experience with and a strong desire to build innovative consumer-focused features, is effective at completing detailed deliverables on time, is capable of working closely with multi-functional teams, engages in open discussion and debate well, and does not shy away from a challenge. Description Description In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams on clinical product development. You partner closely with design, engineering and data science teams, as you design feasibility and outcome studies, and synthesize information across teams and theories to form a unique methodology. Additional responsibilities include: • Identify the various theories of psychological health and wellbeing and engage with authorities within the field. • Conduct detailed literature reviews and summarize key points. • Communicate and maintain relationships with a diverse group of internal and external partners. • Anticipate, adjust for, and communicate problems, risks, and roadblocks. This is a site based role. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications PsyD, PhD, or MD in psychology, psychiatry or related field, with an emphasis in social, health, contemplative, or clinical science, or PhD candidate in a behavioral science. Expertise in areas including evidenced based research to assess and promote wellbeing, positive psychology, meditation and compassion based interventions, and emotion regulation. Background in developing scalable interventions for wellbeing. Digital product experience or experience working in companies with digital health/wellbeing products and experiences. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
