Job Requisition ID #24WD78463Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a group product manager responsible for shared components used across Autodesk product lines. In this role, the group product manager will lead the team responsible for delivering key shared capabilities in modelling, interoperability, and graphics.The group product manager will have the ability to both manage and motivate their team members while also staying engaged in hands-on work. An ideal candidate is an experienced product manager with a proven track record and has shown a strong desire to manage people.ResponsibilitiesManage a globally distributed team of product managers that are responsible for defining and executing on a holistic product strategy for three domains: modeling, interoperability, and graphicsYou will support team in creating and managing a multi-year roadmap for their domain based on clearly defined priority workflows and enhancementsYou will support team in drafting high quality product requirements documents (PRDs), including well-defined acceptance criteriaBalance long-term vision and big picture thinking with guidance and support of work currently in flightYou will work with cross functional team (XD, engineering, architecture) and executive leadership to set expectations and manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offsLeverage analytics to measure the success of the shared capabilitiesDemonstrate collaborative leadership with leaders across multiple cross-org initiativesMinimum Qualifications3-5 years as individually contributing product managerProven ability to act as a "player/coach" – mentoring more junior team members while balancing hands-on workDemonstrates curiosity to deeply understand key customer pain points in the domains they manageProven ability to lead cross-organizational teams on sizable, strategic projectsAbility to take and analyze data from many sources and made hard trade-offsExcellent verbal, written communication, and presentation abilities both internally with executives and externally with customersStrong skills in storytelling, being able to take complex ideas and convey them in a concise and impactful mannerAbility to collaborate effectively across global cultures and time zonesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
