Job Requisition ID #24WD79128Responsibilities:Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. Install or advise on systems of recording costs or other financial and budgetary data. Perform key analyses, account reconciliations for revenue, and deferred revenue related accounts on a worldwide basis. Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis. Prepare quarterly audit schedules and periodic reports to support internal and external reporting requirements. Implement and document processes and procedures as required including Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Support and participate in companywide projects for revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycles including requirements gathering and UAT. Identify opportunities and implement programs to centralize, eliminate or automate activities. Work through accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support business agreements. Provide accounting guidance to sales, product and other cross-functional teams. Work closely with international locations as needed to obtain information necessary to analyze data and reconcile accounts. Some telecommuting is permitted.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in an analyst-related occupation. Special Requirements:Position requires the following certification:Certified Public AccountantPosition requires at least two (2) years of experience in each of the following skills:Utilizing knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to perform and improve various tasks.Utilizing deep knowledge of ASC 606 to perform and have a deeper understanding of clients revenue recognition model.Utilizing knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance (SOX 404) to perform and document key control procedures.Utilizing knowledge of industry-leading ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, NetSuite) to understand and perform various analytical procedures.Utilizing project management skills to help organize and meet timely deadlines.Utilizing soft skills and presentation skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $90,646 - $130,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
