Job Requisition ID #24WD79129Responsibilities: Plan, direct, or coordinate human resources activities and staff of an organization. Work closely with management in the implementation of corporate polices related to human resources, organizational and employee development. Consult with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempt to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Act as key contributor in the development of the organization’s strategic plans and objectives. Drive division HR strategy through creation of the Human Resource Plan or M&A activities to meet organizational objectives and resolve business issues. Diagnose and drive organizational design, structure and communications that most effectively enable the business to deliver against its strategy. Lead and/or consult comprehensive organization, team and leadership development and targeted succession planning. Drive manager and employee development efforts such as leading skills development workshops, encouraging participation in training and development opportunities, partnering with OD to design and create development solutions, conducting organizational diagnostics and working with managers to create individual development plans. Ensure appropriate follow through. Conduct executive and leadership development coaching as a trusted advisor. Investigate and address root cause of human resources/employee relations issues. Coach managers and employees at all levels within client groups on a variety of topics including management/leadership skills, professionalism, conflict management and communications. Maintain strict confidentiality on all employee-related issues. Oversee and contribute to company-wide and division-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, equity grants, workforce planning and organizational change, redeployments) within client group. Ensure desired behaviors are identified and reinforced in salary, bonus and equity programs. Bring in HR functional specialists in training, compensation, organizational design, and staffing, as appropriate.  Evaluate and contribute to the development of all HR policies, practices and processes to determine efficiency and effectiveness. Recommend improvements to achieve and deliver improved results. Resolves complex policy issues. Manage employee relations issues (including sexual harassment, performance plans, conduct, manager issues) by acting as a resource to the employee, intervening and consulting with in-house legal counsel when necessary. Provide guidance and counsel to managers on employee-related matters. Consult with employees and managers to address root causes of work-related problems and issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Create positive team dynamics throughout client groups by facilitating team-building activities or engaging other resources. Influence senior management across the company to clarify and resolve divisional business and communication issues and improve overall organizational effectiveness. Provide guidance to the client group regarding current regulatory changes impacting the human resources. Address improper actions immediately to reduce company risk and exposure. Understand and balance the needs of the division across geographies. Where goals conflict, provide facilitation, arbitration and guidance to the various groups to facilitate an outcome in the overall best interest of the Company. Telecommuting is permitted. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sited throughout the U.S. and abroad.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a human resource-related occupation.Alternate education/experience requirements: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a human resource-related occupation.  Telecommuting is permitted. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sited throughout the U.S. and abroad.Special Requirements: Position requires at least 6 years of experience in each of the following skills:Utilize knowledge of HR Planning and Organizational Development to drive division HR strategy through creation of the People Plan or M&A activities that meet organizational objectives and resolve business issues;Utilize knowledge of HR Policies, Standards and Procedures to develop and implement an impactful people strategy that is focused on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent and overall business performance;Utilize experience with Strategic Thinking to partner with leaders to establish plans that support the business strategy identifying, prioritizing, and building organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes, and deliver solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and drive results;Utilize experience with Executive Coaching while providing business partnership and support to a diverse group of leaders and executives to guide level of performance and capabilities to meet current and future standards;Utilize experience with organizational change management to address challenges as they present themselves, rapidly integrate new learnings by driving the process and content of organization change, and assess the organization’s readiness working with leaders to move from A to B by putting the spotlight on the human system driving the business;Utilize experience with Stakeholder Management to partner with leaders to establish plans and deliver solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives, build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structure, processes that drive results, and create team environments that are authentic, productive, and fun;Utilize business acumen to provide thought partnership to leadership in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy;Utilize knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data, and analytical skills to diagnose and drive organizational design, structure and communications that most effectively enable the business to deliver against its strategy.Learn More     About Autodesk  Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $190,000 - $230,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
