In addition to our Commercial business in India, we are also building our Global Capability Center comprising of IT and other business services. The ideal candidate would work closely with relevant business groups to setup their teams in India by ensuring Illumina people practices.The ideal candidate would be required to collaborate extensively with HR colleagues at AMEA and global regions to ensure an integrated customer experience is delivered for our business groups. Candidates who have prior experience in setting up green field/brown field teams in a multinational organization would be preferred. The incumbent will work at an individual capacity within a matrix organization to accomplish the set business goals and objectives.Illumina is a fast-paced organization with an open and collaborative culture, we are seeking someone who embodies and embraces these values.Position Responsibilities:Drive people support and care activities in India partnering with global and APAC PS&C organizations to ensure global consistency and philosophyImplement plans and programs to identify and retain talent within and attract talent for the country.Educate Business managers on local market talent and setting the right expectationsIdentify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific, effective, and timely practices to fill the gaps.Support and work in alignment with regional and global HRBPs to support local HR business partnering activitiesTranslate strategic and local business operating plans into HR operational plans.Identify organizational capabilities and talent pipeline required to execute the business strategy.Prepare reports, analytics, and presentations for leadership team to provide insights of talent market landscapeSupport Compensation and Benefits to benchmark and assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets for the country.Comply with India statutory requirements & advising business groups as needed for necessary actionsCollaborate and work with the broader HR team to coordinate and integrate support for the business.Partner with the team to create and host talent branding initiativesAll listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities.Positions requirements:Educational qualification: Graduation / Post Graduation in HRMinimum 8 years of experience in the field of HR with 5 years in Business partnering role in a multinational setupStakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, HR teams, and employees.Ability to build strong relationships and connect with employees at all levelsDemonstrated understanding and experience of local employment lawsDemonstrated ability to execute on Talent Management strategiesPreferred Experience/Education/Skills: Past experience in setting up new teams at a country / Business unit levelDedicated, fast worker able to withstand the high demands of a fast- paced environmentA team player, resourceful, meticulous, and able to multitask.
