This position involves assisting with various administrative, coordination, and analytical tasks to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of security operations and initiatives. Primary Responsibilities:1. Business Operations Support:Assist with the preparation and distribution of security-related documentation, reports, and presentationsAssist with budget tracking and financial reporting to ensure financial health for the Infosec DepartmentAssist with vendor relationship management including new vendor onboarding and contract renewal.2. Coordination and Communication:Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding security-related inquiries, requests, and issuesFacilitate communication and collaboration between the security team and other departments or business units within the organization.3. Data Analysis and Reporting:Collect, analyze, and synthesize data related to security metrics, performance indicators, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and findings to stakeholdersSupport the development and maintenance of security metrics frameworks and reporting mechanisms4. Critical Project Support:Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Gather relevant data and information to support the planning processAssist in ensuring project deliverables meet established quality standards. Coordinate quality assurance reviews and testing activities as neededAssist in identifying project risks and issues. Maintain risk and issue registers, track their status, and escalate critical issues to project managers as necessary. Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven prior experience and demonstrable recurring success in an administrative, operations, or coordination role, preferably in a security or IT-related environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making and problem-solving.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other productivity tools.Familiarity with security concepts, principles, and terminology is a plus.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work activities.Find yourself checking a lot of these boxes but doubting whether you should apply?
