As part of our team, you will manage procurement for SDC Network & Infra team.  Also responsible for hardware support contracts and other Infrastructure related activities.  Responsible for the lifecycle of goods from the request through to confirming receipt of goods. Work with multiple internal departments worldwide as well as vendors around the globe.  Ability to create strong working relationships with all parties involved in assurance processes are followed and timelines met.  Must enjoy documentation and constantly drive to improving processes.  Our ideal candidate has experience with procurement lifecycle, data Centers and possesses excellent problem solving and communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities Purchase of hardware, network and other related services and hardwareFollow processes and meet the defined SLO’s, ensuring appropriate remittance and deliveryBuild relationships with existing vendorsManage the Procurement Tracker- capture and track every orderResponsible to drive all requests from start to finish with: requester, buyers, vendors, accounts payable, etc.Communicate performances and costs to managementRecommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategiesCommunicate with vendors, clients, team members, and managersAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time- must be efficientRequirements and Qualifications Experience in procurement, project management, Infrastructure, Data CentersProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite/TeamsAn analytical, problem-solving personality with the ability to build relationships with vendors and internal teamsAble to prioritize your work and meet deadlinesExpert with data entry, order management, and reporting and complianceAble to work without Management present during most of your shift.  Flexibility in availability for meetings ouside normal hoursProblem SolverGreat relationship management.Impeccable time-management.Ability to adapt to change.Nice to have requirements.Negotiation skillsUnderstanding of global marketStrategic thinkingFamiliar with IPROC2-5 years of previous experience in procurement or purchasing or data CentersThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
