We have a fantastic opportunity for a Java Developer to join our Identity Management Services team based in Bucharest. Identity Management Services (IMS) is Adobe's implementation of OAuth 2.0 and Federated ID. We manage the authentication and authorization system for users across all of Adobe’s products and services. As such, security, availability and performance are paramount. You will contribute to new features while making sure that we keep our 99.999% uptime SLA. What you will do:Design & implement new features and performance improvements, while keeping a strong customer focus and high-quality standards Be part of an agile, highly collaborative and passionate team, owning multiple features of the serviceWork closely with experience designers, product managers and security partners to ensure your work meets customer expectations and adheres to high usability, reliability and security standards Perform research on various technologies and define architectural improvements, build prototypes or core features, as needed Evaluate the current architecture, determine risks and opportunities, and come up with proposals for mitigations and improvementsUnderstand the product domain, the customer base and drive the growth of the ecosystem built on PaaS conceptsWhat you need to succeed:B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalentObject oriented design principles and design patterns, algorithmic and logical skillsDeep knowledge of Java stack and frameworksSolid knowledge of Systems Scalability, Availability & PerformanceSolid foundation in software engineering process & best practices: unit testing, build automation, continuous integrationEnjoys technical challenges and is capable of proposing and evaluating a solution against requirements, and demonstrates a strong customer focusBonus Points:Newer frameworks and paradigms such as Spring Boot, Vert.x/Project Reactor/Reactive Java are nice to haveNewer programming languages such as Kotlin are also nice to haveKnowledge of modern Observability and MonitoringAdobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
