The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the HR technology team, ensuring system integrity, and optimizing HR processes through advanced technology solutions. This role involves configuring and maintaining HR systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing user support and training. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with HR and IT departments to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and drive efficiency. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of HR operations are essential for success in this role.What you get to do:Workday HCM Management•    Oversee the administration and configuration of the Workday HCM system.•    Ensure the system is optimized for performance and user experience.•    Lead the implementation of new modules and features within Workday HCM.•    Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.•    Maintain data integrity and security within the Workday HCM system.Technology Strategy and Optimization•    Evaluate and recommend new HR technology tools and systems to enhance HR processes.•    Optimize existing HR technology solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.•    Stay current with HR technology trends and best practices.•    Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for HR technology in alignment with organizational goals.Project Management•    Lead HR technology projects from inception to completion.•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.•    Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.•    Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.Vendor Management•    Manage relationships with HR technology vendors and service providers.•    Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure favorable terms.•    Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to SLAs.Team Leadership•    Provide leadership and direction to the HR technology team.•    Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.•    Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.What you bring to the team:Education and Experience•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.•    A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HR technology management, with a focus on Workday HCM.•    Proven experience in leading HR technology projects and initiatives.Skills and Competencies•    In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM, including configuration, implementation, and optimization.•    Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex projects.•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.•    Ability to lead and inspire a team.•    Familiarity with other HR technology tools and systems is a plus.At Proofpoint we pride ourselves on our people-centric approach to success and innovation, which extends to how we design roles within our organization and hire talent around the world.
