As the Director of DEIB, you will develop and implement comprehensive DEI strategies and initiatives to drive cultural change, enhance workforce diversity, and promote an inclusive and equitable workplace. Must reside in the Bay Area, CA.Your day-to-dayDEI StrategyDevelop and execute the organization's DEI strategy and roadmap aligned with Proofpoint's values, business goals, and industry best practices.Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate DEI principles into all aspects of the organization's operations, policies, and programs.Inclusive WorkplaceDrive initiatives to create an inclusive workplace culture where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.Implement programs and practices to promote diversity, equity, and belonging at all levels of the organization.Leadership DevelopmentDesign and deliver leadership development programs that foster inclusive leadership behaviors and promote diversity in leadership roles.Provide coaching and support to senior leaders and managers to build inclusive leadership capabilities.Education and AwarenessDevelop and deliver DEI education, training, and awareness programs for employees at all levels, promoting cultural competence and sensitivity.Raise awareness of DEI issues and initiatives through internal communications, events, and campaigns.Community Engagement and PartnershipsBuild and nurture relationships with external organizations, community groups, and industry partners to advance DEI initiatives and support community engagement efforts.Employee Inclusion Groups (EIGs)Support and empower Employee Inclusion Groups (EIGs) to drive initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the organization.Supplier DiversityDevelop and implement supplier diversity programs to promote diversity and inclusion in procurement practices and supplier relationships.Policy and ComplianceEnsure compliance with DEI-related policies, laws, and regulations, providing guidance and support to HR and business teams on DEI matters.What You Bring to the TeamBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; Master's degree preferred.8+ years of progressive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion roles, with a focus on developing and implementing DEI strategies and initiatives.Strong knowledge of DEI best practices, principles, and trends, with a demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and foster inclusion in a corporate or organizational setting.Experience leading diverse recruiting, talent development, and retention programs.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Strategic mindset with the ability to translate DEI goals into actionable strategies and initiatives.Experience with community engagement, external partnerships, and advocacy for diversity and inclusion.Passion for promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace and beyond.#LI-KJ1If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!Consistent with Proofpoint values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
