In this role you will be responsible for testing custom web applications built on the Q2 Platform.RESPONSIBILITIES:o   Create and maintain comprehensive test plans based on Use Cases and Customer Requirementso   Create and maintain suites of automated test scripts across multiple products using Selenium and Pythono   Execute and contribute to  manual tests efforts as neededo   Document defects with details and diagnostic informationo   Work closely with developers, business analysts. product managers, and other testers to deliver quality solutions to our customerso   Assist and mentor other Quality Engineerso   Participate in and contribute test effort estimates in Sprint/Release planning sessionso   Be passionate about driving software qualityo   Accurately track and report time against multiple projectso   Utilize your expertise and knowledge to help drive QA best practices and process improvementso   Train and mentor peersEXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:o   Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; o   3+ years professional quality assurance and testing experience, with an emphasis on test automationo   Strong experience in testing web based software solutions (both front end and back end services)o   Strong analytical and problem solving skillso   Excellent communication and teaming skills especially with highly technical team memberso   Strong test plan organization and test execution planning skills across multiple projectso   Passionate about the work, proactive work ethic, and highly motivated attitude to provide excellence in software qualityo   Proven test automation experience using Selenium with Pythono   Experience working in small, highly efficient teams with a high degree of collaboration prowesso   Experience with version control systems such as Gito   Experience with defect tracking systems; JIRA, QTest considered a pluso   Experience testing web services and RESTful APIs considered a pluso   Experience with SQLThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
