Global Voice Category LeaderDescription -The Poly Category team is seeking a leader to drive results for the Poly Voice portfolio covering desktop and conferencing phones. The role leads a team to develop and execute strategic priorities and the business plan globally, Responsibilities:You will be responsible for driving strategic execution on the product lines with go-to-market (4P) initiatives and programs. You are an experienced category/go-to market leader within the technology sector who is adept at driving results through your own and virtual teams at a global level.Develops and manages short and mid-term 4P plans to achieve market growth, revenue, and operating profit goals.Develops strategy with local market category, the GBU, marketing, alliances and other key category stakeholders on programs and product positioning to win business.Facilitates collaboration with various internal teams from marketing, sales, and product development to align strategies and ensure effective execution of the 4P Plan.Engages with key stakeholders to communicate category performance, present plans, and align on strategic initiatives to drive growth.Identifies and addresses potential risks (product, market, competition, etc) within the product category, and implements mitigation strategies to deliver against goals.Closely collaborates with demand planning on forecasting and proactively manages aged inventory exposure.Develop a comprehensive working relationship with the theatre and local market category teams across EMEA, AMER & APJ, execute key activities including supporting product transitions in these markets.Working closely aligned with the GBU you will feed changing market and customer needs as feedback to influence decision making.Partner with local market leaders to identify and drive key business development activities to accelerate growth.Profile:Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration, with advanced degree or MBA is preferredFluent in English (mandatory)15+ years of experience in category /go-to-Market management, Product & Portfolio management in global technology businesses with 5+ people management experience.Preference for an individual with good understanding of the global voice telephony and/or unified communication market with a relevant network in the industry across platform providers, alliance partners, resellers etc.Strong process discipline and financial rigor.Strong Presentation skills. Should be able to prepare and deliver Executive level business and product presentations. Expert Communication and communication skills to influence a large matrix organization with multiple stakeholders across the value chain, ensuring projects move ahead with specific timelines taking all stakeholders along. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work with team members in same team, and across multiple different virtual teams, with diverse opinions and objectives. Able to drive people to a common business objective. Should be a self-starter, self-driven individual with an innovative and problem-solving mindset.
