Lead Developer, Frontend ExperimentationDescription -HP is currently seeking a Lead Frontend Experimentation Developer to join its growing Web Experimentation team. The Lead Frontend Experimentation Developer will be a senior member of the WW Experimentation & Personalization team, leading the implementation of global Web projects, driving innovation in user experience and experimentation, and will be responsible for leading and mentoring other developers.Job Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex web applications and experiments.Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and project teams to collect requirements, define project scope, and contribute to creative and technical concepts.Drive the development of A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies, ensuring best practices and statistical rigor.Mentor and guide junior frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.Identify areas for improvement and manage projects to implement enhancements to completion, ensuring high-quality standards.Maintain and enforce coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices within the team.Ensure efficient project tracking and implementation using tools like JIRA.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in web development practices.Job Requirements:Must have 7+ years minimum experience in building and maintaining web applications, with a focus on front-end development.Must have extensive experience in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JSON, JavaScript, and Web services (SOAP/REST).Proven experience with CSS and JavaScript frameworks like Bootstrap, jQuery, as well as modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.Proficient in version control systems such as Git.Strong knowledge of scripting languages and object-oriented programming concepts.Experience with Agile / Scrum software development practices.Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience with content management systems (CMS) is preferred.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage development teams.Strong background in A/B testing and other experimentation techniques.Expertise in Asynchronous Programming.Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline with an information technology focus, or equivalent experience.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Job -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Mexico)Travel -Relocation -Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) - HP, Inc. provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and prospective employees, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, age, disability, or status as a protected veteran, marital status, familial status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic predisposition or carrier status, uniformed service status, political affiliation or any other characteristic protected by applicable national, federal, state, and local law(s).Please be assured that you will not be subject to any adverse treatment if you choose to disclose the information requested.
