PC as a Service Product ManagerDescription -This position is in the Consumer Services and Solutions organization that is driving new ink service business models like HP Instant Ink.  HP as a company now is strategically pivoting to a “service-first” approach to products/solutions and this organization drives the end to end lifecycle for any such new business models.  HP Instant Ink is the flagship subscription service offered by HP, is a top strategic business priority and is now launched in 30 countries worldwide.  As the market share and financial leader in the global inkjet market, HP’s inkjet business is built on the highly successful “razor and blade” business model and HP Instant Ink’s subscription model intends to delight customers with savings and convenience while still driving high profitability for HP.Why HP?You want to work for us to solve real problems, be the disruptor in chief to overturn existing consumer behaviors and have the fire to radically transform our products/services in the next 5-10 years.  You will have flexibility on your budgets, strong organizational support for radical innovation and a day-to-day operating environment of a start-up – roll up your sleeves to get work done.  PC AS A SERVICE PRODUCT MANAGERThis role is for a product manager responsible for driving new solutions and experiences where the entire print solution including the printer is part of the service (PC as a Service). He / She drives all the pillars of the product management including, customer insights, product strategy, financials and ROI and product execution.  Along with these foundational skills, this role is expected to strongly influence product marketing teams on executing the 4Ps and the design teams on the best-in-class customer experience. Responsibilities:Manages the end-to-end product lifecycle (concept to release to refine)Drives deeper understanding of the customer via traditional & new market research methodsDevelops the end to end business case for a product/service including clear articulation of the 3Cs, 4Ps, Value Chains and Industry CompetitionDrives and partners with a large group of cross-functional team members towards the successful realization of the vision. Includes R&D, Marketing, Region, Ops, Channel Partners, IT etc. For example, is equally as effective talking to a group of engineers as well as talking to the print category VP at a retailerEffectively gets buy-in on the product vision, strategy and commercials from the channel partnersIs a perfect blend of high-level vs. detail oriented approaches depending on the audience, task at hand?Frequently presents to VP and higher on all aspects of the productMaintains a relentless focus on data-based decision making, customer insights and executionBring in logical and analytical thinking in problem solving. Stays up to date with industry trends to evolve the positioning, experience and offeringsQualification:  MBA preferred.
