In this position, you will be contributing to build virtualization technologies used in the state of the art AI clouds. We need an architect who is passionate about system software, the Linux kernel, virtualization and has an appetite for looking at the big picture when crafting solutions. We collaborate with many internal teams (software and hardware), external R&D partners and customers to define product scope and deliver the same.What you'll be doing:Enhance NVIDIA Smart-NIC offering for bare metal and multi-tenant AI cloudsCollaborate with multi-functional teams to innovate and deliver virtualization solutionsTranslate requirements to vision, architecture and roadmapWork with upstream Linux kernel/QEMU community and maintainers to drive strategic technologiesIntegrate Confidential Compute concepts into the networking virtualization stackWhat we need to see:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience8+ years of proven experienceSolid understanding of the Linux kernel with 3-5 years of proven experience in Linux kernel, virtualization or device driver developmentProficient in C/C++ with strong software development, optimization and analytical skillsStrong articulation skills for crafting and improving technical documents and to engage globally distributed engineering teamEagerness to learn new technologies and constantly increase one's expertiseKnowledge in Confidential computeNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
