Someone successful in this role will also be comfortable with building positive online relationships and engaging with a wide range of influencers.  As Manager, External Communications you will be responsible for the management of Social Media Programs & Governance on a global level as part of the External Communications team. You will serve as the main point of contact for the Clarivate social media programs. You will also work as an evangelist of Social Media, Colleague Advocacy & Influencer programs throughout the company.  About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field of study or relevant, equivalent work experience.  Minimum 5 years of relevant social media or marketing experience  Experience with Hootsuite  It would be great if you also have . . .    Experience developing a brand from scratch on a new social platform and/or successful organic social campaigns, particularly on YouTube. Experience developing and editing copy for corporate social channels. Experience with Google Analytics.  Ability to create UTM codes.  What will you be doing in this role?   Social media strategy and planning: Manage the refining of, and re-establishing, our social media strategy based on data audits and insights. Devise creative and innovative digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to enhance our content calendar and increase ROI. Lead virtual presentations that educate and excite. Monitor social landscape and trends including influencers, competitors, and new platforms. Collaborate with agency partners to identify & partner with relevant influencers to amplify brand awareness, while ensuring alignment with core messaging  Supporting day to day operations: Manage social media planning and operations for large Tier-1 campaigns and programs. Be the primary content approver and quality checker for content. Oversee the social media space on the company intranet and ensure the right tools, policies and training is available for colleagues.  Technology, platforms, and tools Manage all social media platforms, including access, set up, and optimal performance. Report back to the team on performance and ways to improve. Continually research new tools to see how technology can support the team in the best way possible  About the Team  Our team elevates the Clarivate brand by accelerating relevance and awareness among key audiences and influencers.
