Razer is also a great place to work, providing you the unique, gamer-centric #LifeAtRazer experience that will put you in an accelerated growth, both personally and professionally.Job Responsibilities :Manage and maintain database issues and plans.Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) and related softwareMonitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient and reliable operationsDevelop and implement database backup and recovery plans, as well as disaster recovery plansManage and monitor database security, ensuring that all sensitive data is protectedTroubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance, connectivity, and data integrity issuesDevelop and maintain database documentation, including data models, database schemas, and system architecture diagramsEnsure that databases are in compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy policiesParticipate in the design and development of database systems, working closely with software developers and other IT staffPerform database tuning and optimization to ensure optimal performanceDevelop and implement database maintenance procedures, such as database defragmentation and data purgingManage and maintain database backups and disaster recovery plansPlan and implement database upgrades and migrationsOther duties as assigned.  Pre-Requisites :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldAble to work in i-City office and standby for a prolong hours when required5+ years of experience in database administration or a related fieldIn-depth knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and related software, such as MariaDB, MySQL, SQL Server, Redshift, Timestream, Cassandra, Flink, Hadoop/HBase, Kafka, RedisStrong knowledge of database security and access controlExperience with database performance tuning and optimizationFamiliarity with backup and recovery procedures, disaster recovery, and high availability conceptsExperience with database monitoring tools, such as New Relic or AWS CloudwatchAbility to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issuesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workPre-Requisites :Are you game?
