In support of the increasing demand, we are growing our team delivering Cloud based services which meet Workday’s Operational, Performance, Management and Security needs.About the RoleThe Engineering Environments team is looking for a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join us in building the next generation platform for Workday Developers, to deliver reliable, resilient SaaS products to our customers.This outstanding role blends an understanding of the full Workday stack with usage of cutting-edge cloud computing technologies (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP) as we enable the platform for our developer’s needs.You'll work with highly experienced engineers in Dublin and the US to achieve this.You will become knowledgeable in Workday Platform and Service architecture, working with Kubernetes on AWS and GCP supporting our multi-cloud strategy.You will build and maintain the engineering environments, enabling features for Workday Engineers, and work cross team to identify root causes and solutions.You will continuously improve processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the teams’ efficiencyAbout YouBasic Qualifications:BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field or equivalent3+ years of software and systems delivery experience2+ years of Development and Operations experience on a public cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle)2+ yrs experience with Kubernetes1+ year of experience with software development experience using Go Lang, Python or Ruby1+ year Linux Scripting experienceOther Qualifications:Experience working cross team in analysis and solution findingExperience with general monitoring solutions, crafting dashboards and alerts (e.g. Grafana)Continuous Delivery experience, owning your service through to production.Experience in Agile environments/Agile development methodologies.Experience developing automation solutions, CI/CD tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skillsWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
