Equinix enables organizations to access all the right places, partners and possibilities to scale with agility, speed the launch of digital services, deliver world-class experiences and multiply their value, while supporting their sustainability goals.  A career at Equinix means you will collaborate on work that impacts the world and be surrounded by endless opportunities to learn new skills and grow in varied directions. We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.  FP&A Senior AnalystJob SummaryThis role will partner closely with the Data Center Services (DCS) BU teams to support strategic financial initiatives and will have opportunities to be involved in finance projects for continuous improvementResponsibilitiesPrepare reports, templates, analysis and presentations to enable the budget and forecast processResponsible for the headcount reconciliation process for DCS BUPerform variance analysis including actuals vs forecast & budget and YOY analysisIndependently analyze financial results, prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, and drive monthly operating review meetings with senior leadership & C level executivesPartner with business leaders & HR to maintain detailed headcount forecastsLead the short & long financial planning process for key businesses: both for operating expenses and capital expenditureTake ownership of the forecasting and internal financial reporting process, and identify areas for improvement, efficiencies, and automationDeliver and craft high-quality presentations for senior executives and business partnersDevelop annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts to support projected expense changesComplete purchase order approvals, new headcount approvals, and ensures regulatory complianceReconcile accounting entries to ensure financial reports accurately reflect monthly expensesLiaise with other Finance teams in order to align on the right product forecasts and develop the right reporting contentAssist with the BU P&L modeling and reportingQualifications3+ years experience in financeBachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferredCPA/CFA certification preferredExperience with Hyperion preferredCurious, driven, and eager to learnExperience in budgeting and forecasting requiredAdvance Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook)Strong analytical, quantitative, written, and interpersonal skillsAbility to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing prioritiesEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
