We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success. Data Center Critical Facilities MEP Asset Lifecycle PrincipalJob SummaryThe Critical Facilities MEP Asset Lifecyle Principal reviews data center facilities equipment operation, service history and physical condition, makes recommendations on maintenance practice and performs project development for asset end of life refurbishment / replacement.  This position will be based out of Miami but will also have responsibility for our Atlanta data centers, as well as provide support to WA DC and New York data centers.    ResponsibilitiesPhysically walk the data centersReview facility equipment operation, analyze system performance, and recommend changes to maintenance or operation to extend useful life of equipmentCompile asset end of life forecasts, review / prioritizes and develops projects for asset refurbishment / replacement / retrofitCoordinates asset life cycle forecasting with energy efficiency team for alignment to 5 year plan efficiency targetsUses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of actionCollaborates across multi-functional and cross geographical teams  QualificationsProven understanding of MEP equipment operation in a mission critical environmentProven experience in project planning, development and executionPrior experience as a critical facilities manager strongly preferredElectrical Engineering background preferredEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
