You will have the opportunity to execute field marketing strategies as well as produce and market WP Engine experiences for in-person and virtual events—both nationally and internationally. The successful person in this role should have an informed point of view on the events and campaigns we participate in and how the team works collaboratively and cross-functionally with other Marketing and Sales teams to promote WP Engine effectively. The Day to Day: You'll be a WP Engine evangelist, driving all the moving parts of:Field Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute field marketing programs that include regional events, sponsorships, virtual events and customer engagement initiatives to drive brand awareness and generate leads. Event Production Responsibilities:Create high-quality, high-touch virtual and in person events to support the strategy in place.Act as a focal point for events across WP Engine, ensuring there is a shared understanding of the aims and objectives of the event and the way in which they will be achieved.Project management of different event formats, from the initial event strategy and concepting, pre-event planning, through to live event delivery and post-event reporting.Financial ownership - including creating, managing, and reconciling budgets for events that you manage.Oversee and project manage internal teams or third-party suppliers required for the event delivery - ensuring all project deadlines are met and acting as quality control for the event work delivered.Deliver consistent communication to senior management with updates, status reports, and progress of projects against their objectives and scope.Ensure event leads are processed appropriately in line with lead routing plans.Balance and plan multiple events at once.Coordinate internal and external communication actions required that are related to events to create awareness and engagement.Travel as required. Strategy Responsibilities:Execute field marketing strategies that align with business goals, including customer acquisition and retention.Lead cross-functional teams for omni-channel event activities and outcomes.Work with cross-functional teams to develop strategic goals for each event that include all channels.With key teammates and leads, determine event-specific KPIs and metrics for how each events’ success will be measured.Create post-event reports inclusive of measures, information, cadence, audience.Develop executive communications plans, including pre-event and post-event emails and presentations.Analyze event reports and CRM data to determine key takeaways and learnings—on own and/or with the designated operations team. Execution Responsibilities:Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn about field marketing and promotion strategies.Execute virtual & in person events working with partners internally and externallyCommunicate externally about events and drive engagement.Build recommended email and social media marketing plans based on event and audience by working collaboratively with email marketing and social media marketing teams.Be creative and proactive with promotions, while understanding the importance of providing value to audiences through each channel.Build relationships with the sales team and drive sales enablement through meetings, training, and messaging. Your Skills and Expertise:Strong capabilities in the area of event and project management, ideally with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience managing events and leads.Experience in field marketing within the SaaS industry is highly preferred.Event trend awareness and competitive insights.Excellent ability to multitask and stay abreast of multiple projects at one time.Experienced financial planning, including building and managing event budgets.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly react to new/urgent requests.High energy, detail-oriented person, with a go-getter, positive attitude; comfortable working autonomously and within groups.Effective verbal, written, and presentation-related communication skills around project planning and status, roadblocks and, when needed, alternate courses of action.Proficient with Google Suite for productivity products.Proficiency with Cvent event platform.Proficiency with zoom webinar platform.Proficiency with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar marketing systems.Ability to travel for live events/site visits where required.
