We're in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet.Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.For our Shared Services, we are looking for a forward-thinking, hard-working, dedicated General Ledger Accounting Supervisor!What You will Accomplish as a General Ledger Accounting Supervisor: Manage and guide multiple accountants in outsourced accounting functionAssist in the monthly close processReview and prepare balance sheet reconciliations across multiple legal entitiesPrepare monthly general ledger account fluctuationsBy Request of Business Partners analyze Balance Sheet accountsReview and prepare journal entries and ad hoc reportingDrive process improvements through evaluation of processes in Accounting day to day activities and implementation of changes for improved efficienciesParticipate in automation projects to develop automation on routine/repetitive activitiesWhat You will Bring:Dedication to working onsite out of our Austin, Texas office 3+ days per week in alignment with our Hybrid work model guidelinesBS/BA in Accountancy or Finance (Required)CPA or Equivalent (Preferred)5 or more years of dynamic accounting experience (Preferred)Sophisticated Microsoft Excel skills (Required)Experience with sophisticated reconciliationsExperience in working for large company & dealing with large volume of transactionsExperience in General Ledger accountingDatabase and basic understanding of SQL querySAP (SAP S4HANA highly desirable)/ ERP experience#LI-JG1Please see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
