Scope:We are looking for a FinOps cost optimization Manager who can work on leading the Azure cost management strategy to optimize cloud expenditures and ensure alignment with business objectivesIf you are a seasoned FinOps professional with expertise in Azure cost management, possess technical skills in SQL and Power BI, and are ready to contribute to the financial success of Blue Yonder, we encourage you to apply for this FinOps Manager position.Join our team and play a key role in optimizing our cloud-based supply chain solutions.Our current technical environment:Cloud- Microsoft Azure, Private CloudWhat you’ll do:Lead the Azure cost management strategy to optimize cloud expenditures and ensure alignment with business objectives.Utilize technical skills in Azure to analyze, monitor, and report on cloud costs, identifying opportunities for optimization.Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts related to Azure costs.Provide insights into financial performance and cost drivers, contributing to strategic decision-making.Implement cost optimization strategies such as right-sizing resources, eliminating idle resources etc.Work closely with Product Development teams to align resources with operational needs.Utilize cost monitoring data for creating meaningful insights and reports to support decision-making.Manage Azure cost budgets and alerts, ensuring adherence to financial plans.Collaborate with stakeholders to set realistic and achievable budget targets.Develop and maintain financial reports on Azure costs, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.Communicate insights derived from financial data in a clear and actionable manner.Engage with Azure vendors to optimize pricing models and stay informed about changes in Azure services.What we are looking for: Implement automated solutions for Azure cost optimization, including auto-shutdown policies, and automated resource management.Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to manage Azure resources and reduce spending.Participate in ongoing cloud optimization initiatives to continuously improve our Azure costOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
