About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Director, Revenue Operations & Strategy to help support the Field Sales organization by optimizing critical business processes, productivity tools, and ensuring consistently as we scale our Field Teams. This requires collaboration with cross-functional departments and leveraging systems for related business processes. The candidate must be a strong leader, extremely well organized, analytical, detailed-oriented, quality minded and help champion the Field Teams. The role will support the vision of Redpanda’s sales leadership team and will report to our VP of Field Operations.
You Will:
Develop and execute a Global Revenue Operations by collaborating with Sales Leadership and GTM teams by driving key strategic initiatives
Optimize sales processes and programs as it relates to Quote-to-Cash, Deal Desk, Forecasting, Commissions, Analytics and GTM Strategy
Develop an operational cadence for Revenue Operations and Field Teams
Proactively monitor and maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency across the Field organization
Develop strategies to optimize SFDC, other SaaS tools and data across all business units
Develops key performance metrics, dashboards and reports that help the GTM organization focus on performance drivers and results
Partner with Finance to drive fiscal planning, budgeting, business KPIs and process alignment
Collaborate with Marketing to ensure proper lead management processes, metrics and policies
Partner and implement knowledge management strategies to continuously increase product knowledge across all GTM teams
Be a trusted advisor to Field Sales and GTM Leadership

Data integrity and compliance across all GTM systems
Sales Tool Development, Vendor Selection and Management
OPERATIONS:
Drive WW Sales Team Cadence (e.g. Field Calls, QBRs, SKO)
Help drive Sales Culture, Recognition Activities & Events
Participate in GTM Strategy and Operational Alignment with Cross Functional Depts
Drive Revenue Operations Mandate, Design and Talent Management
PLANNING & METRICS:
Sales Metrics, Analytics and Forecasting
Compensation Strategy, Design, Compliance and Production
Territory and Segmentation Analysis
Sales Force Capacity and Planning Process
Adhoc Report Analysis and Presentation Production
Monitor and Maintain Channel GTM Programs
STRATEGY:
Collaborate with Finance to drive planning cycles and ensure actuals are within guidelines
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive analytical insights across the GTM Motion
Identify opportunities to improve GTM efficiencies scale, align and invest in the business
You Have:
10+ years of relevant experience in a software business and sales operations capacity
Excellent quantitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, empowering teams and a keen business sense
Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail to drive program management, execution and results
Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships with cross functional GTM departments
Demonstrated progressive experience in a global SaaS sales or strategy environment
Excellent problem solving, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills
Deep SFDC expertise and expert knowledge of enterprise sales tools
Ability to coach, motivate, performance manage and recruit operations teams

U.S. base salary range for this role is $181,000 - $213,000 (CA, NY, WA) and $157,000 - $185,000 (other U.S. locations). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary.
