The Advertiser Platform organization owns the frontend and backend of ads.reddit.com, the core advertiser-facing product on Reddit. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Ads API team within the Advertiser Platform organization! The team's responsibilities include: Ensuring service health for our API product Upholding a quality bar for upstream services and partner feature teamsBuilding platform tools to enable internal and external developers Focusing on customer needs to enable API 3rd-party partners and direct advertisers Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with product managers to design and implement Ads products Ensuring service health and uptime Leading the processes needed to improve operational stability, including improving code quality, delivering dashboards, and creating data visualizations Building extensible components that align with product objectives Supporting day-to-day project management tasks, including communicating project updates, managing project timelines, and overseeing project execution Qualifications: 5+ years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Scala) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to design and architect complex solutions that span systems at high quality Ability to take complete ownership of a feature or project from start to finish Preferred Qualifications: Experience owning an API layer as a platform, experience with OpenAPI Product-feature development experience utilizing LLMs in production, or developer-platform experience utilizing LLMs/AI-tooling in production Experience with Ads platforms or related technologies Frontend experience (our ads UI is one of our biggest customers of the Ads API)" Experience or familiarity with Frameworks: React, Thrift, Baseplate, Kafka Datastores: Postgres, Cassandra, Druid, Redis, BigQuery Tools: Kubernetes, Argo, Docker Benefits: Comprehensive Health benefits Retirement Savings plan with matching contributions Workspace benefits for your home office Personal & Professional development funds Family Planning Support Flexible Vacation & Reddit Global Days Of     Reddit is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures.
