Your tomorrow looks bright at Ubiquity.Your Role:Job Profile SummaryThe Senior Payroll Manager handles the strategic business partnership in Payroll Management to support the overall Talent, Operations, and other functional teams' collaborative efforts in hiring and maintaining employees' pay, benefits, and other related financial activities.Handle and lead the Payroll system integration, ensuring it expeditiously meets business requirements and enhancement of system efficiencies.The role also oversees and supervises the organization's timekeeping and payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This role analyzes current practices and the group’s organizational structure and efficiency and develops process improvements as well as changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Payroll System Efficiency and Vendor PartnershipLead the strategic management and execution of overall payroll operations deliveryLead the Workday service enhancement, systems design, reporting and project management, and overall continuous improvement projects.Identify and establish new payroll partners and a portfolio of existing payroll partners to meet to company’s growth objectivesSet strategic direction with payroll vendor partners with defined goals and clear business outcomeDevelop relationships across products, industries, and services; benchmark and identify the needs to further enhance payroll management efficiency.Collaborate on team-wide initiatives to improve or expand and maximize the use of Workday as one of the company’s systems in Payroll managementPayroll ManagementEnsure operational goals and objectives are achieved across assigned functions.Work closely with stakeholders and process owners to implement the HCM and payroll platforms to ensure delivery of efficient and accurate configuration as per the business requirements and strategyPerform periodic audits and analysis of payroll and timekeeping processes and reports.Investigate shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes and implement remedial, corrective, and preventative measures and actions.Collaborate with other stakeholders and process owners to enhance productivity, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.Develop and implement standard and custom reports and processes based on the client’s existing reports or requests, including local legislative requirements.Work with the People Technology Solutions team to identify opportunities for process improvement and performance metrics.Drive the development, implementation and maintenance of related People Operations service delivery, policies and procedures.Assist in the preparation and management of the group’s annual budget, and drive year-over-year financial efficiency programs.People ManagementEstablish norms, standards and metrics of team performance.Provide strong operational and people leadership to the team.
