Senior Integration Engineer

SummaryThe Senior Integration Engineer will design, develop, and implement automations & integrations between various systems and applications in Workiva. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into efficient and scalable integration solutions, and drive continuous improvement in automation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise systems, APIs, cloud-based technologies, and integration architecture.  What You’ll DoDevelop, design, and implement common architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and service-oriented architectureDesign, develop, and implement integrations using the Workato platform to connect various systems and applicationsCollaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather automation & integration requirements and translate them into technical specificationsBuild and maintain integration workflows, recipes, and connectors within the Workato platformPerform testing and debugging of integrations to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performanceMonitor and troubleshoot integration issues, providing timely resolution and supportDocument integration processes, workflows, and configurations for future referenceStay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in integration technologies and toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applicationsProvide technical guidance and support to team members and end-usersWhat You’ll NeedMinimum qualifications4+ years of proven experience as a Workato Integration Engineer or similar type of integration role  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred qualifications Strong knowledge of integration concepts, methodologies, and best practicesProficiency in Workato platform and its features, including connectors, recipes, and workflowsStrong proficiency in RESTful APIs and web services, with a deep understanding of API design principles and best practicesKnowledge of integration patterns, data transformation, and ETL processesExperience in implementing integration projects, including complex enterprise systems and cloud business appsFamiliarity with cloud-based systems and applications, such as Workiva, Salesforce, Marketo, Anaplan/Adaptive, NetSuite/SAP/Oracle, FinancialForce/Open Air, Gainsight, Xactly, etcProactive in problem-solving, ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they ariseDemonstrated success on high performing integration engineering teamsExcellent written and oral communication skills, conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiencesAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of other integration platforms, such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi, is a plusWorking conditions & Travel requirementsReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeLess than 10%How You’ll Be Rewarded✅ Salary range in the US: $79,000.00 - $134,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
