Senior Director, Hardware Engineering - Concept & SolutionsDescription -The Sr. Director of Hardware Engineering will lead our hardware development efforts which include Mechanical, Electrical, and Engineering program management.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware design, development, and management, along with exceptional leadership skills to drive teams toward successful project completion.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic direction and vision for the hardware engineering team, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.Lead and manage the hardware engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.Oversee the entire hardware development lifecycle, from product development to launch, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, product management, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of hardware solutions.Define and implement hardware development processes and best practices to optimize efficiency and quality.Drive innovation and continuous improvement in hardware design methodologies, technologies, and tools.Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components and materials.Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex technical issues and making key architectural decisions.Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability within the hardware engineering team.Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:Proven track record of successfully delivering complex hardware projects on time and within budget. Strong technical expertise in hardware design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, signal integrity analysis, and board bring-up.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards common goals.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving objectives.Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in the technology or consumer electronics industry.Passion for innovation and technology, with a desire to push the boundaries of what is possible in hardware development.Education and Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer Engineering, or related field;  Master's degree preferred.10 or more years of related work experience, including 10 or more years of people management experience at a global scale.Job -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Taiwan)Travel -Relocation -Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) - HP, Inc. provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and prospective employees, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, age, disability, or status as a protected veteran, marital status, familial status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic predisposition or carrier status, uniformed service status, political affiliation or any other characteristic protected by applicable national, federal, state, and local law(s).Please be assured that you will not be subject to any adverse treatment if you choose to disclose the information requested.
