Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer who have great passion for Coding, Configuration, Testing, Debugging, Deploying, Documenting and maintaining large and/or complex programs, using a variety of software development toolkits programming languages(PL/SQL specific) testing/verifying applications, while adhering to specific development best practices and quality standards.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.Experience working.Excellent teamwork skills, proactiveness, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.You should have experience on the following technologies/frameworks:SQL,PLSQLUnix Shell Scripting    PerlIt would be great if you also had . . . Experience and knowledge about Perl.What will you be doing in this role?As a Software Engineer you are an Oracle SQL,PLSQL and Unix shell scripting with focus on code quality. You are expected to improve your teams' communication and collaboration and effectiveness. Analyze existing SQL Queries(Involved Explain plan) for performance improvement and Suggest new queries.Need to write SQL Queries using Joins, Inline views, Sub Queries and correlated sub Queries to retrieve data from the database.Extensive experience in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Cursors, Bulk collect, Bulk binding, Packages, Collections, data pump for exporting partition tables, Dynamic queries, Exceptions, Joins, Sub Queries and Set Operators.Good exposure on advanced topics Like Analytical Functions, Indexes, views and materialised view.Experience with advanced file operations in Unix like awk, sed, Grep, Egrep, Head, Tail, Sort, Touch, mailx, locate,find etc.You foster a culture of autonomy and accountability across multiple teams, promoting self-management and ownership, setting the direction and defining the scope of work. You should be enthusiastic about tackling problems of varying complexity within a team setting. You will play a pivotal role in defining the architecture, design, stories, and task breakdowns, as well as coordinating technical synchronization.You will need to examine various options and actively assist the team in making decisions regarding technical solutions and processes, including collaborating with the tech leadership team. Product you will be developingSystem biologicsAbout the Team  Our overarching mission is to maintain the Metacore product.
