This is an amazing opportunity to work on our Vega Product Mobile App, a next generation cloud native public library experience.About you 5+ years of Java development principles and best practices3+ years of iOS mobile development principles and best practices2+ years of Native React experienceStrong English language verbal and written skills, to collaborate with cross-functional teamsIt would be great if you also hadStrong knowledge in software development lifecycle and delivery methodologyExperience in Agile methodologies Experience in building and deploying mobile applicationsExperience with Bitbucket git or related source controlExperience with security and performance optimizationKnowledge of Node.js and AWSWhat will you be doing in this role? Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code from the beginningReview other code to ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable codeLead and contribute to the architectural decisions and technical designImplements design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, and standardization through analysis of designs and problem-solving techniquesResponds to direct or indirect customer inquiries regarding function and design and attends customer meetingsWrites application technical documentationProduct you will be developing Vega Discover is a very forward-thinking engagement and customer relations suite of tools for public libraries, to help library administrators reach out to and involve both their patrons and their communities in with more directed and personalized interactions.  Our mobile application will provide essential features for library staff to manage their content and enable better patron experience. About the teamThis is new mobile development team of iOS and Android mobile developers working on our new mobile app aimed for new and existing Vega web application users.Hours of Work  Full-time position, typical hours are until 6PM CEST, to align with the US-East timeframes for reporting purposes.
