People Analytics and Technology Analyst

Today, Box powers 100,000+ businesses, including many top Fortune 500 companies who trust our secure collaboration platform to manage the entire content lifecycle.   WHY BOX NEEDS YOU Box is at a critical point in the People Analytics and People Technology journeys, and we need a systems thinker with strong technical data skills to support our team with the following: Support our People Analytics practice by using People data infrastructure to help Box understand People trends, influence people strategy & shape culture at Box. Support the Sr. People Analyst in our data storytelling roadmap (visualize data, consumerize & personalize insights for all People Teams) Support Workforce Planning efforts by ensuring strategic workforce goals are met through forecast modeling, capacity planning, collaboration, and effective communication with business partners while ensuring our forecast aligns with company goals. Support our people tech roadmap through evaluation of new tools, onboarding or new vendors, changes in configuration of existing tools, enablement of People teams with new technology or new functionalities. This role reports into the Director of People Analytics & Technology and will work closely with various cross-functional partners across the People team, IT and Enterprise Systems as well as external software vendors.   WHAT YOU'LL DO People Analytics: Enhance our people data platform, effectively organize and distill data Contribute to Data Storytelling efforts to visualize data, consumerize & personalize insights Ad-hoc analyses and assuring data quality Workforce Planning: Develop long range workforce planning motions in partnership with Finance in order to better support our Real Estate, Workplace Services and Talent teams. People Technology: Play an integral role in the configuration, support, and success of Workday and other People Systems Train end-users and peers on new processes and functionality as needed WHO YOU ARE You live & breathe data. You enjoy digging into the details of data models to answer questions, and you enjoy finding ways to enable people to access data to drive decisions. Experience working with people data preferred (e.g., hiring, org profile, turnover metrics, and other people analytics) Your analytical skills are strong, including 2+ years of experience in an HR systems or Analytics role. You have experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Looker, Domo, etc.), and have a basic understanding of data concepts and data modeling. Experience with People Analytics platforms such as Visier, OneModel, Workday, etc. are desired. You have advanced Excel proficiency. You are a problem solver by nature. And you’re good at translating technical concepts to layman terms. You are willing to learn new technologies (i.e. Workday, Greenhouse, ServiceDesk, Box for HR) and you have familiarity with HRIS systems and transaction. You're a trusted business partner. You've got excellent communication skills and can translate between technical and functional requirements.  You have experience working with business stakeholders to clarify questions and prioritize asks. High level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
