In addition to playing a key role in architecture and delivery of our most important initiatives, this role is also responsible for inter-team communication and helping the less experienced engineers on the team grow. Lastly this role is key to our firefighting coverage in the EU timezone. This role optionally includes team-lead responsibilities depending on the individual’s experience and preferences. Key Responsibilities:Maintaining and improving DataRobot's predictive tools, APIs, and integrations to enterprise IT infrastructure.Ensure best-of-class reliability for our APIsDevelop, test, and support features of DataRobotCreate and maintain automated unit tests and functional testsDesign infrastructure for new features with the input of peersPlan, capacity and manage application performanceManage individual projects and milestones with abundant communication of progressSeek, give, and constructively receive critical feedback, including but not limited to code reviewOur stack includes: Python, Java, Go, Flask, Docker, Kubernetes, NGINX, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, pytest, and many other tools. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Basic understanding of Linux system administration and containers (Docker and Kubernetes).Able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, on technical issuesPersonal drive to get things finishedWilling to continuously learn and challenge yourself, and apply your knowledge to improve DataRobot's predictions.
