Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

nCino offers exciting career opportunities for individuals who want to join the worldwide leader in cloud banking. Reporting to the Executive Director – Corporate Controller and External Reporting, the Senior Financial Reporting Specialist will participate in the Company’s external financial reporting process completion. This member of the Accounting team is responsible for collaborating in the preparation and filing of the Company’s SEC reports (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and researching, evaluating, and documenting technical accounting matters. This role works with the accounting department to ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements and SOX. Responsibilities:Collect and analyze technical data in preparation of the company’s external financial statements and disclosures as required by the SEC. Independently research and analyze complex accounting matters and disclosure requirements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Prepare and support internal and external audit requests for financial statements, annual audits, and quarterly reviews to ensure supporting documentation is SOX compliant. Research and influence the implementation of new regulatory, accounting, reporting, and disclosure requirements at the team-level to enhance the operational capability of the team. Contribute to the delivery of technical material to be used in communications to the Disclosure Committee and senior management to enable decision making. Complete ad-hoc projects and effectively communicate technical concepts from the analysis performed as required.
